Big Ideas, Real Impact.
I have spent the past three years teaching at Maplebrook, building and expanding creative and technical programs that give students real-world, hands-on experience. In my first year, I introduced a comprehensive art and music program, creating opportunities for students to explore creativity and self-expression. In my second year, I expanded into technology, developing a program that included robotics, coding, and web design to prepare students for modern career paths. In my third year, I launched a music studio program alongside advanced art studies, including film, mural work, and in-depth fine art instruction. I teach the fine art program with the structure and expectations of a professional art class, covering a wide range of mediums, styles, and art history, with a focus on both technical skill and creative development, giving students a well-rounded and forward-thinking educational experience.
